Independent ConsultantThe Training Effect (Public Sector Training And Consultancy) Sep 2013 - PresentNationwideI have been working with TTE since 2013 and during this time I have managed a newly commissioned school based service. In-Formed is a universal PSHE service commissioned by Oxfordshire County Council to provide intervention around adolescent risk-taking behaviour. We have successfully delivered In-Formed to over 35,000 children and young people, trained over 300 professionals and we have developed the offer into a comprehensive PSHE support service for all of Oxfordshire's secondary schools.Throughout the duration of this project we have consistently delivered to over 94% of schools in the county with over 98% of young people reporting that the sessions recieved were fun, enjoyable and would help them to better navigate risk.As well as In-Formed, I have also supported TTE across the full life cycle of Head-First. This is another newly commissioned service by the Children and Young People's Health Partnership (CYPHP) across Lambeth and Southwark boroughs.Head-First is a multi-component intervention that provides schools with a universal audit of emotional health and wellbeing across a whole school site, along with universal and targeted intervention to support the development of resiliance, self-efficacy and well-being.Since inception in January 2017, we have already engaged over 50 schools in the programme and have collected a comprehensive data set of over 9,000 audit responses. My role has been designing and developing both universal and targeted resources, design and delivery of training provision to underpin the intervention and stakeholder engagement work to recruit schools to the programme.
