With over 20 years of experience working in Australia, the UK, and the Middle East, I have built a successful career in project management.I am the Project Manager for the Oven Mountain Pumped Hydro Storage Project. A state-significant development within the New England Renewable Energy Zone adjacent to the Macleay River between Armidale and Kempsey in NSW. The 900MW pumped hydro energy storage scheme involves building two “off-river” water containment structures to create an upper and a lower reservoir. The project is on the land of the Thunggutti people, Traditional Custodians of the land. AECOM, with Lombardi, are the Owners Engineer for the project.I am also the Project Manager for Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), a modern-day power network that supplies safe, reliable, and affordable grid-scale energy over the operations phase and beyond. The CWO REZ will connect new renewable generation and storage facilities to the existing electrical infrastructure. AECOM is the Technical Advisor to EnergyCo (NSW Government) for the development of the state’s first Renewable Energy Zone.I led several federally-funded stimulus programs to support economic recovery from COVID-19, including the $77M Road Safety Program and the $240M Pinch Point Program as part of the Easing Sydney Congestion Program.A highlight of my career was working in the Middle East, where I was part of the AECOM Program Management Consultant team for the construction of a new $10B seaport and navy base in the State of Qatar.
