For nearly half his life, Benjamin Mack-Jackson has been dedicated to documenting and sharing the stories of World War II – and now the war in Ukraine – to preserve history for future generations.As a photojournalist, author, visual storyteller, and founder of the nonprofit organization WWII Veterans History Project, Benjamin dedicates his time to preserving the memories of the Greatest Generation and giving the past a future, one story at a time. To date, he has interviewed over 200 WWII veterans. As a result, he has produced a feature-length documentary, Normandy Revisited, wrote a book, World War II History for Teens, and continues to educate with artifacts from the war through a traveling museum.As a freelance reporter, Benjamin has completed several extensive working trips to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, documenting stories of soldiers and civilians as an accredited journalist with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His photographs and documentary content have been highly praised and featured in museum exhibitions in the United States and Ukraine. Benjamin’s passion for history and global affairs led him to Rollins College, where he recently graduated cum laude with a degree in International Relations.
