Da Vinci Algo is new Fintech Start-up offering trading software that enables users to build, backtest and implement AI driven automated trading strategies on an easy to use interface that requires no programming or coding skills.

This role was an enlargement of responsibilities following an internal restructure, therefore retained all responsibilities from my previous role as a Team Manager. Now a senior leader responsible for oversight of operational strategy and market leader for the UK managed client segment booked through internal relationships. The role has had a key focus on expanding the products and services available through our growing proposition. Under my tenure as Head of Operations we have taken what was previously an investment platform and integrated full banking functionality. This includes developing and launching an innovative digital banking offering including mobile and online platforms for clients to seamlessly manage their wealth through their own personal devices. Registration and enrolment into UK domestic payment schemes, current account switching service, introducing market leading multi-currency debit cards and multi-currency current account services. Being an international subsidiary with a high degree of outsourcing, responsibility was also held for performance management of internal and external service providers. Held seats on committees for Risk, Anti-Money Laundering and Client Assets and Custody.

Coutts Crown Dependencies was established in 2016 as the Private Banking and Wealth Management arm of Royal Bank of Scotland International head- quartered in Jersey. A key focus of this role was over-seeing the technical migration of c.1,000 banking and investment clients between two different jurisdictions and platforms, whilst managing start up of the new entity in Jersey. This included developing a brand new operating model, journey and process mapping as well as writing of new policy and procedure documents. Whilst the business was being launched I also undertook an interim role of team manager within what was to become the investment operations department, with responsibility for overseeing securities trade execution, custody services & corporate actions, FX & payment execution, new account sanctioning, error dealing and credit sanctioning on behalf of bankers and portfolio managers across multiple jurisdictions.

Overseas assignment, bespoke Private Banking and Wealth Management services within an International Hub servicing offices in London, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Cayman & Channel Islands. Activities included client placing securities trades, dealing in FX and arranging Lombard lending. Also acting as a bridge between the Channel Islands teams and the Swiss based back office and booking centre functions.

Bespoke wealth management and private banking services for an exclusive portfolio of high to ultra high net worth individuals. Predominantly UK inpatriates. Activities range from placing security and derivative trades, writing up suitability and advice reports, to dealing in FX as well as day to day banking services.

Private banking and relationship management service for medium to high net worth clients across multiple jurisdictions internationally. Assistant to a protfolio of circa 600 clients in a retail environment. Acting as primary point of contact for day to day banking services as well as providing a corridor to investment, mortgage and fiduciary services.

Officer in a proactive remediation project for Payment Protection Insurance. Project involved writing out to circa 3500 customers who had previously held PPI policies, informing them of potential mis-selling and inviting them to claim if they felt appropriate. Then assessed and dealt with the subsequent claims on the banks behalf.
