I grew up in Slidell, Texas, a small town with a few hundred people. This was the type of place where everyone knew each other, and the community was strong. I learned the value of building relationships and committing myself to the community I was a part of. I felt a passion for it because I was a part of something that was greater than myself. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, film photography, playing guitar, and spending time with family and friends.I graduated with a degree in Emergency Administration and Planning from the University of North Texas (UNT) in December of 2021. During my time at UNT, I completed a business continuity internship for their department of Emergency Management and Safety Services. During my last semester, I was the Vice President of the International Association of Emergency Managers Student Chapter (IAEM-SC).I work full time at Cura Emergency Services as an Incident Manager. In this role, I’ve been given the opportunity to manage environmental projects / incidents for our customers. These include environmental emergency response, waste disposal, remediation, and regulatory compliance reporting across the United States utilizing an extensive subcontractor network. I also work in our call center answering our emergency line and distributing projects to other Incident Managers.
