In addition, our team provided process improvement recommendations captured via quantified idea logs.Calgon Carbon:Value stream mapping and Productivity assessment project with Calgon Carbon based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The findings from these two studies will support a capacity model to help define a strategic improvement roadmap. Process and Workforce Optimization Analyst Co-Op:My Role: Support project initiatives by conducting process utilization studies and lean operation evaluations to suggest areas of opportunity to client leadership. I used MOST motion analysis to evaluate workforce efficiencies against Standards Measurements. This Co-Op experience gave me strong exposure Standards Pro and Lean Line software programs. During the rotation I was fortunate to experience a wide variety of workplace settings: Norfolk Naval Base, Susquehanna DLA Distribution Center, and Tinker Air Force Base

Process and Manufacturing Engineer:My Role: Review and confirm updates to assembly SOP’s. I supported prototype development of Bombardier's newest electronic train engines. I contributed to Manufacturing line improvements and conducted Kardex utilization studies across various areas of the warehouse. My biggest accomplishment was completing a visual display of Employee “Self-Directed Work Team boards” which empower employees to perform their daily work with minimal guidance from management. This tool is still in use today
