During my time at Musgraves ( involved in Centra based in Lucan ) I was assigned as a sales assistant and gained a tremendous amount of experience during my time there. My roles included cash handling, customer interaction, product placement along with stocktaking. This job thought me the basics of customer satisfaction and how important it is to be aware of product activity(deals, change in prices). I gradually became a senior member of staff during my time there , gaining sales experience along the way. Being energetic, creative, kind and patient were characteristics of this job that were essential to thrive.

I worked in the Penny Hill pub based in Lucan , Dublin. Being employed as part of the losing staff of the pub , I was frequently connected to the customers and consumers of the business . Helping them with drink orders , making sure the bar/pub was to a standard so customers would speak highly of the pub was just a few jobs involved in this environment.Due to college commitments I had to sadly leave this position but have no doubt that it increased my knowledge in customer satisfaction, the bar trade in general as well working in a fast paced working environment.

My main jobs was customer interaction , making sure they were comfortable in the store and providing any help necessary. Product placement and making sure the shop was to necessary standard were just some of the jobs involved in my time there .Although short, I quickly understood the quality levels needed to gain sales and productivity in the retail workplace. I am thankful for the employees that helped me during my time there as it as helped me grow as a business student.
