My professional career has covered a diverse range of experiences including project management, sales/account management, team leadership/management, business process analysis, electrical engineering, and hands-on field work. Each experience has presented a unique set of challenges which has allowed my to develop a first-hand understanding of these business areas.Since 2008, my career has primarily centered on project management. During this time, I have been exposed to a variety of different projects and the unique challenges that come with them. This includes large waterfall government projects with heavy engineering and construction, highly agile software/IT projects with constantly changing priorities and scope, as well as ERP initiatives that impact and involve a broad range of stakeholders. Through each of these experiences, I've been able to build on the formal education received through my Master's degree, Scrum Master Certification and Supply Chain Certification (CSCP). My favorite aspect of working on projects is the collaboration and teamwork needed to achieve long term success.In addition to project management, I seek other ways to challenged myself and expand my knowledge. Examples include Ruby on Rails software development with the DaVinci Institute and, most recently, my APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP certification).Presently, I am part of the Finance team as Director, Finance Strategic Transformation working in a variety or ERP initiatives in including ongoing Supply Chain improvement activities. I currently lead one of two phase of our SAP ECC to S/4HANA greenfield implementations. I also lead a transformation office focused on data-driven decision making and portfolio management.
