Supports EKS cluster lifecycles, application deployments on Kubernetes (EKS), CI Pipelines (CircleCI), CD (internal tool), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).In this role I manage the application deployment process from start to finish. I've written CI pipelines from scratch when needed and have taken it to completion in deploying applications to production EKS clusters. With this I've migrated many applications from Amazon ECS to EKS, which lead me to writing my teams "template" pipeline from scratch that has been used on many migrations since.I manage infrastructure as code for AWS infra and manage the lifecycle of said infra as well as contribute to in-house Terraform modules for it. Notably, I've created terraform code to manage Rancher projects across regions with access and api keys setup in CircleCI without users ever needing to see these keys.I've also piloted hackweek projects centering around GitOps deployment models with ArgoCD and was able to create a CICD pipeline that only required app teams to worry about building their Docker containers and nothing else. This also involved automatic multi-region deployments that were also blue/green with ArgoCD Rollouts.

Support for the Rafay ecosystem. Aside from the Rafay Saas (and on-prem) platform, this also includes provisioning and troubleshooting Kubernetes as well as the tools that come with our blueprints (Prometheus, Nginx and Rook for Ceph). I support EKS, AKS and GKE and often dig into the cloud provider itself. I also support other features like our GitOps pipelines and other integrations like Vault.I mentor team members on Kubernetes use and its components. Broadly speaking, this is the entire Rancher ecosystem.Understand/troubleshoot the hood aspects of Kubernetes, namely for our RKE / RKE2 / K3S distros. Including and not limited to, assisting in provisioning clusters, best practices, troubleshoot/breakfix, and debugging.Additionally, I do the same for other components such as Monitoring (Prometheus Operator based), Logging (Banzai/Fluentd based), Longhorn Storage, OPA Gatekeeper and Fleet.I also provide contributions to internal and customer facing KB articles. Occasionally review code in the Rancher projects to better understand behavior as well as occasional PRs to the projects/charts.

Automates takes using Python and Bash, but also Perl and Ansible when appropriate.Wrote a large project using the Django web framework that used the Django Rest Framework as the backend with a React JS frontend. This was used for administering training to new hires and automated the creation of training servers as well as automated grading based on tasks performed.
