Senior PM role within Integration Branch of PTV Program Delivery division, focusing on delivery of State-funded High-Value High-Risk (HVHR) projects onto the Melbourne Metropolitan Network.Project lead for Train Control & Monitoring System (TCMS) project for Melbourne metro area (AU$100M in value)  TCMS project delivers an integrated, advanced Train and Signal Control System into the Melbourne Metropolitan network, replacing the legacy Train Describer System and providing a platform for future network improvement and development. Lead project manager responsible for delivery, coordinating activities by prime contractor developing solution, and network operator/franchisee to ensure successful transition throughout network integration period. Promotion of a system engineering approach to development, validation and integration of the extremely complex TCMS system, within the high-risk environment of network integration, considering operational constraints, human factors, system inter-dependencies and resource allocations.

Key Responsibilities: Management of a portfolio of complex rail rolling stock projects totaling in excess of $10m sales forecast at completion, encompassing a diverse range of product including data loggers/vigilance systems for the Melbourne market, HVAC and passenger door systems for Adelaide new builds and sanding systems for Melbourne new build light-rail. Projects which included a combination of original equipment supply for new train builds and overhaul/sustainment of existing in-service equipment, all of which were delivered to a range of stakeholders including rail operators, car-builders and governing bodies. Management of local and multi-site global project and systems engineering teams, as well as internal and external project stakeholders Involvement in a variety of project stages including tendering, planning, FAI, production and warranty monitoring Regular reporting and presenting of project status to senior management, incorporating risks and opportunity review.
