Additionally, offline storage patterns were implemented to ensure that the study guide was available even when a user's network connection was interrupted or down.

Led teams for multiple projects including:Customer Connections PortalJune 2013 - February 2015Lead architect for a solution integrating multiple internal systems with external-facing websites to allow NW Natural customers to determine whether natural gas is available and to submit orders online. Supervised the work of multiple development teams to ensure project constraints were met and that high quality software was delivered. The web applications were built using ASP.NET MVC, WCF, and SQL Server. An internal thick-client application needed to be integrated with the new work and was built using WPF, WCF, and SQL Server.SCADAJanuary 2013 - June 2015Lead architect and developer for the SCADA Web Application which would allow NW Natural to create charts to visualize telemetry data coming in from their SCADA systems. The business tier was written using WCF.Mobile Web ApplicationSeptember 2011 - December 2011Worked in an advisory role to help the Web Team facilitate development of a Mobile version of NW Natural's website. Provided the underlying architecture that allowed the team to re-use their existing codebase while providing an alternate user experience when a mobile device is used.

Designed and developed a mobile applications for collecting salmon information out in the field. Due to the need for a hardened device that could withstand field treatment, the application was built using Windows Mobile 6.5. A framework was designed and implemented to facilitate building MVC applications using WinForms on Windows Mobile 6.5. Data collected in the field would then be transmitted to a central system using WCF.

Introduced SCRUM to a team of developers and led that team to a successful release for an upgrade to NW Natural's website. Following the success of this project, coached and mentored 2 additional NW Natural teams in the use of SCRUM to increase visibility and effectiveness for those teams.

Worked with a team of developers to design a rich-client application to support the scheduling of natural gas pipelines. Designed and developed a publish/subscribe framework to support progress reporting from the scheduling engine so that the end user could understand when their results would be ready. The application was deveolped using Service-Oriented Architecture as well as a Plug-in model. Project technologies include WPF, WCF, SQL Server, Reporting Services, and BizTalk Server.

Designed and implemented hosted network infrastructure, consolidating company servers to reduce IT costs and provide more reliability.
