I am an industry professional with over twelve years of combined experience in emergency & environmental response services, general health, safety, & welfare practices, and inter-agency communications. I graduated with Honors from American Military University with a BA in Emergency & Disaster Management. I am a prior Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician; I possess certification as an EMT Basic, and a 40 hour HAZWOPR certification with 8 hour refresher courses. I am a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers and I currently hold an active Secret security clearance from the Department of Defense. I have a strong desire to use and expand upon my current knowledge in safety, emergency management, planning and project management. I currently work as a contractor to the Military maintaining critical bombing ranges used in testing and training missions. In the private sector, I have held varied positions ranging from Security Operations Manager directing the workflow of 30+ Officers guarding Trade/Event Shows to Security Control Room Operator/Dispatch Officer directing the daily work flow of 5+ Security personnel responsible for over 1300-rooms, guests, and hotel staff. While serving in the military, I was responsible for coordinating & nurturing working relationships with military units spanning all four branches of the military and local municipal emergency service departments. I have a drive to succeed in everything that I do and I enjoy trying to find new and innovative answers to problems that I encounter. I enjoy working with and meeting new people. Throughout my professional career I have interacted with personnel across all levels of government and within the private sector.
