CurrentBenjamin E. Mudrick’s practice is focused on labor and employment law, where he partners with business executives and human resources personnel to navigate complex employment issues. Ben provides counsel on all aspects of the employment relationship including hiring, discipline, termination, equal employment opportunity, wages and hours, restrictive covenants, and union relations. Where contentious employment-related disputes cannot be avoided, Ben advocates for his clients in front of federal and state administrative agencies, including the Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, and National Labor Relations Board. Ben works closely with HSE’s corporate attorneys and has significant experience advising national and international clients on the complex employment issues that arise in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Ben regularly provides training to executives, employee groups, and trade organizations on non-harassment and equal employment opportunity, wage and hour compliance, and other labor and employment topics. Ben received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and a B.A. from Brigham Young University.
