I am currently a Manager in Operations at Amazon where I have grown as a leader in time management and cost efficiency. Leading a team of 50-200 associates, I monitor and maintain productivity and quality metrics. During Spring 2022, I used data analytical skills to lead a project to improve shift quality which resulted in a 42% improvement. I was then able to pass my findings to other shifts to improve overall department quality through coaching and creating educational one pagers. Recently I was moved to a new department to assist in the training of managers and improve department metrics. Focusing on knowledge gaps in leadership and team organization through swim lanes, productivity and quality improved by 12% and 16% respectively. Being raised on a farm, I have learned hard work since I was a kid raising my own herd of cattle. Working part-time in retail during college, I have gained customer service skills. At J&M Bookstore, we dealt mainly with Students in art and design majors. My main responsibilities were ensuring customer satisfaction, checking in shipments using packing slips, and conducting delivery/pick-ups for Auburn University staff or students. Due to covid-19, our department's business was pushed almost entirely online during the Summer of 2020. I created and organized product matrices through our Lightspeed software to provide efficient product organization and customer experience. As a full-time student working part time, I also managed my music career for shows across Alabama and 3 other states. Using organizational and communication skills, I contacted booking agents and venue owners and satisfied the acquisition of required musicians and musical equipment for shows.
