I joined the team straight out of my apprenticeship, as the youngest electrician on shift I was keen to learn new skills after only two months working I was sent on plc courses to learn Medoc and designed and installed a new vinegar dosing system. I ended up covering two shifts for 3 months with only 1 day off every 30 as the site was short an electrician, unfortunatly we were all made redundant early 1990 due to the site being sold as a property development area, I used my hard earned overtime to buy tools and equipment to head out in the big wide world on my own and this the birth of BSB the rest is history

Bennaire was my dad's small electrical and pneumatics company specialising in Tweedy bakery plant, working for my father was not a bed of roses and thus I was pushed to the limit, I passed my first and second year with distinctions and still as an apprentice half way through my third year I was sent to beta bake in Gillingham to cover shift, I served out the last six months as the only shift electrician with two mechanical guys John and Jeff, as a keen young man I was offered a full time position
