Contributed to a managed Apache Pulsar as a service solution in a variety of technologies, languages and programming stacks. Created solutions in golang, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue, Python, and others. Heavily focused within a devops stack including Kubernetes across all major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Built ASP.NET Core C# microservices with an emphasis on large volume, highly scalable, distributed systems development. Used tools such as ELK stack, Kubernetes, PowerBI, Angular and Microsoft Azure to accomplish product goals.

First engineering hire. Integrated an externally maintained software product platform into an in house development project. Developed the first product roadmap and hiring guidelines for engineering staff. Recruited, vetted and hired first engineering hires. Worked with and dismissed contracting teams. Conducted staff 1-1's, led and scrum team meetings. Completed feature and bug work in Ruby on Rails. Worked with external API’s and SDK’s to complete features. Helped negotiate product partnerships and set reasonable expectations for both parties. Led the team to complete a Swift iOS client and added functionality to the application.

Headed product-engineering department, led development team in creating applications for police departments and first responders. Actively performed development on a Ruby on Rails platform application with a front end in AngularJS supporting two police departments and a security group for one product and the MEAN stack built on top of Ionic for another. Assisted in sales and marketing, performed cold calls and followed up on sales leads. Provided technical due diligence reporting in obtaining seed series funding.

Built a enterprise data warehousing system with a team of developers and manual QA engineers. Created a platform in ASP.NET MVC 4 (with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout) used to manage SQL Server jobs and browse and manage the metadata database. Expanded functionality of an existing application to map existing database systems to a metadata database as well as flat files.

Taught students introductory undergraduate databases including data modeling, SQL syntax, ISAM and relational databases including MySQL and many other topics. In addition, held office hours and graded papers.
