Bennett Brown’s entrepreneurial spirit can be traced back to his first year in high school when he made his first dollar buying, then selling his motor scooter for a profit. Bennett developed a unique skill for being able to find unforeseen value in a variety of things. Bennett has continually honed additional skills through his collective life experiences. As an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America, Bennett developed and executed a plan to donate over 10,000 pounds of citrus to the United Food Bank. Through this experience, he learned how much he enjoyed helping those in need, and has since had the opportunity to provide service in various cities of Peru. During his two years living in Peru, he learned to communicate with the locals in Spanish. Applying the same determination that came from learning Spanish fluently, Bennett has been able to build, manage and grow a community Facebook group for Arizonan farmers and ranchers to connect. To further enhance the capabilities of the group’s 25,000 members, Bennett created a website, effectively driving traffic from the Facebook group to the site. As co-founder of The Turf Yard, another of his entrepreneurial endeavors, Bennett is expanding his artificial grass wholesale company servicing AZ and UT. When he is not working or studying, Bennett enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling, and finding the hidden gems at the neighborhood garage sales.
