Took an idled plant and turned it around. Went from 25 full time employees and 100 temps to 115 full time employees and 15 temps. Increased machine efficiencies by 200%. Facility had not made a profit in18 months and 2012 was the second best year in the past 14. Successfully incorporated a purchased facility into ours requiring an additional 55 employees, 125 new parts, and the associated manufacturing equipment.

Responsible for a crew of 20 hourly employees in the gluing and pressing of plywood. * Maintained excellent morale with one of the lowest absentee rates in the plant. * Very successful with safety, quality, production, and costs. * Operated with one of the lowest overtime percentages in the plant. * Very involved in dowtime situations always working with maintenance to get equipment backon line in a safe and timely manner.

Responsible for overseeing quality control programs in wood products manufacturingfacility. * Worked with sales department to view and address all complaints by customers. * Worked closely with the American Plywood Association to monitor and organize records. * Implemented the Certified Inspector Program for facility.

Responsible for the safety, quality, and production of the dryers and gluing departmentsin plywood manufacturing facitily.
