I build the foundations for my team.Having come to People Operations from a bit of an odd angle, it still feels like I’ve ended up in the right place. My project management skills, built up over years with various production companies, allowed me the perfect opening to transition into workplace experience. Those odd requests from securing ranch dressing for Kristin Chenoweth to helping a manager plan a trip to Disneyland for 50 dutch girls were all just working with people and their needs. Everyone has wants and desires, especially for their work environment, whether it be in a traditional office, remote, or ‘other’. And people deserve for these asks to be heard and respected. Now, I might not be able to grant their every wish, but we’ll be able to create a conversation. And a conversation is always a good first step.I am people focused in my roles and provide guidance and project management for my team and department. Although typified as the ‘fun HR’ (who doesn’t want to have a petting zoo on their front lawn?!), I am also the detail oriented colleague that makes sure documentation and policy gets done. I own onboarding, IT, events, appreciation, morale, HR systems, and facility management. I directly support our company wiki, systems administrator, and CEO. I maintain the structure of the team, I build relationships, and I put the people first.
