Programmed an interface system for 3D user input to react with a 2D user interface inside a virtual 3D environment. This allows for mouse clicks to be transformed into a 3D ray which can then collide with 2D interfaces.Created a material based sound system. When a metal canister collides with a metal floor it will create a metal sound, but a rubber object colliding with a metal floor will not create the same sound. This creates a much better user experience making the game world come to life.
