My fascination with net zero energy started while staring at miles of wind farms during family road trips across my home state, Kansas. Though I'm still a wind power nerd, now I'm focused on getting a new wave of energy technologies to scale. Whether at the Department of Energy's ARPA-E Agency, as a clean tech investor and advisor, or Stanford researcher: I'm working every angle to help energy companies get to market with economics that work. My work reminds me every day that green energy is great business.When I’m not thinking about the energy transition, I’m lodged in a sci-fi novel or creating queer community on the Stanford campus and in SF – two passions that help me keep my eye on a brighter, prouder future.
