Manage stream restoration and stormwater mitigation projects in the Mill Creek Watershed for an environmental non-profit. Activities include stakeholder coordination and outreach, budgeting services, construction oversight, and public outreach

Conduct on-site Phase I environmental assessments to identify recognized environmental conditions in accordance with ASTM 1527 and client-specific scopes of work.

• Selected environmental projects include:• inspecting sites, conducting interviews, and writing Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports to meet ASTM E 1527–13 in a dozen different regulatory venues• remediating explosives at a U.S. Army base and a former industrial site• establishing an urban farm and expanding a CSA program• developing watershed campaign actions for individuals and groups to meet measurable regional goals- drafting a commercial solid waste reduction sourcebook- troubleshooting indoor air quality

• Reviewed risk-based screening values and risk management practices in a dozen US States• Developed print and internet-based electronic risk assessment and risk management training programs delivered through USEPA’s Hazardous Waste Clean-Up Information (CLU-IN) to 4,300 environmental professional in 15 countries and across the USA

• Managed $10 million fund, organized public meetings, and coordinated with business clients and government agencies addressing water, waste, storage tanks, brownfields, and air regulations. Clients ranged from homeowners to major corporations during transaction of regional commercial property portfolios.• Supervised 3 staff to promote teamwork, meet deadlines, and track annual expenditures of 90 simultaneous projects to remediate petroleum releases from gas stations and other facilities• Performed computer modeling, statistical analyses, and data visualizations; • Created MS Excel-based tools to analyze the finance and science of environmental projects

• Supervised greenhouse gas inventory and air emissions data submitted to USEPA• Reviewed ecological and human health risk of proposed changes to ozone NAAQS rules• Evaluated engineering designs of power plants and manufacturing facilities• Wrote portions of State plan (SIP) to address regional haze

• Evaluated compliance, assessment, and engineering designs of 45 ongoing Phase I, II, and environmental remediation projects • Interpreted and explained environmental regulations to facilitate soil and ground water remediation • Addressed challenging cases with consensus building among (1) truck shop owner, Paiute tribe, and USEPA and (2) four separate responsible parties of a co-mingled contaminant plume • Gathered scientific information by inspecting facilities, remediation equipment and systems, and surrounding areas
