I am a problem-solver who can quickly identify solutions and ensure that the necessary steps are then put in place to execute on solutions.Working in educational tourism, advertising, and financial services, I've demonstrated that regardless of the industry I can be successful by working collaboratively and creatively on the challenges my customers and team faces. I am an effective leader who is able to bring the team along to meet our goals and to bring about the best in each individual contributor through people-centric leadership, goal-setting, and effective coaching. While often recognized for my sales achievements and goals, the professional awards that have meant the most to me are the ones where I have been peer nominated and I have been fortunate to receive such awards on numerous occasions at all companies I have worked at.My professional identity means making time for my community as well, where I have been happy to share my skills as co-chair of my community association, on the board of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, as a candidate for federal elected office. My work advocating for equitable access to vaccines and ensuring my community with lower health-outcomes compared to the rest of the province and city remained connected during COVID-19 was recognized when I was nominated by a neighbour and awarded the Order of Hamilton in 2021. I am determined to leave an impact on the communities where I live and the organizations I get to work with and always give my best.
