- Reporting to and partnering with the Director in planning and coordination of all aspects of human resources including employee relations, talent management, benefits and compensation.- Conducts HR investigations and works with the Director to address any subsequent action. Provide guidance and advice to leadership on employee relations and performance management concerns. Responds to inquiries from employees or leaders, including those related to performance, policies, status, and leaves of absence (LOA).- Advise employees and leaders regarding LOA and disability management, policies and procedures. Serve as a central point of contact for employees with both occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses. Involve appropriate partners (Leaders, Employee Health and TPA’s). Communicate effectively with employees and leaders to ensure all parties have necessary information. Develop communication and educational tools for employee and leaders. Analyze reports and data to identify trends and opportunities.- With the Director’s strategic oversight, manages and administers welfare, disability, retirement (including defined benefit and defined contribution plans), leave of absence, workers’ compensation and voluntary benefit programs. Develops communication materials and programs to ensure employees, providers and leaders are informed and have access to benefit information.- Assumes accountability for making York a leader in promoting health and safety for the benefit of all stakeholders (employees, patients, guests, and vendors). Benchmarks industry best practices to influence a company-wide implementation of health and safety programs.- Plans, develops and manages safety and health resources, programs, and policies. Oversees disability management and injury prevention initiatives, to improve employee health, and reduce costs. Partners with key stakeholders in leadership, Employee Health, Quality and EVS/Security to achieve results.
