Project Manager for various NAVFAC military construction projects at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, NAS Pax River, Indian Head, Naval Maritime Intelligence Center, and the Naval Academy

Deployed for 7 months to Okinawa, Japan; planned, executed, and reported on all NMCB 5 operational missions valued at $8M, consisting of more than 30K man-days of construction, and located in 12 different countries dispersed throughout the Pacific region. Ensured all construciton projects were completed safely ahead of or on schedule and within fiscal constraints.

-Commanded Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five’s (NMCB 5) Charlie Company consisting of 150 Seabees-Deployed as Charlie Company Commander to Naval Station Rota, Spain for 6 months and managed the construction of five construction projects valued at over $165K ensuring projects were completed on time, within budget, and with zero incidents-Hand picked to command a detachment of 110 Seabees and deploy to New York City to support Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts; leveraged resources to clear 6K feet of roadway, remove 27T of debris and dewater 812K gallons of storm water

-Commanded a Platoon of 44 Combat Engineers, planned and executed a 6 month training plan in preparation for a 7 month Afghanistan deployment-Deployed to Marjah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan for 7 months as the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines (2/9) Combat Engineer Platoon Commander-As the senior Combat Engineer to 2/9, advised the infantry Battalion Commander on all engineering challenges in Marjah and conducted daily engineering missions as the sole engineer Platoon Commander; completed the construction of 15 fixed site defensive positions and force protection improvements
