• President and in charge of doing all the event planning and coordination for the past five years• Involved in the strategic planning and organization of an annual outreach ball that host over and between 400 and 500 people for the past 5 years.• Manage tickets sales, vendors and facility staff.• Securing location, dates and coordinating arrangements• Contacting floral and lighting vendors, caterers, Djs and requesting quotations for events• Taking necessary permission from local authorities for holding events• Working with graphic designers and monitoring creation of brochures, fliers, etc. for marketing events• Inspecting and monitoring safety feature at event site and solving problems• Work with a team of designer, interior decorators, vendors, and subcontractors and make events special• Ensures no untoward incident takes place during event and reacts promptly to pacify situations• Organizes indoor and outdoor events per demand• Maintain strong relationships with numerous international vendors to assist corporations in planning overseas events• Manage budgets of up to $50,000 for over 1000 attendees• Select and serve as primary point of contact for all vendors
