Bennie Fowler is a c-suite executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience in developing strategy and executing plans to deliver profitable growth. He has led large, complex, transformation projects across the globe in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. He has delivered smart vehicles with connected services, advanced propulsion systems, autonomous technology, artificial intelligence and advanced composite materials to improve safety, fuel economy and customer experience. Bennie incorporated the use of analytics and digital assets to improve response time, quality and financial performance. Bennie brings deep corporate governance experience through his work on boards, including audit and finance, mergers and acquisitions, product program development, strategy, regulatory and compliance, environmental health and safety. He is a member of the NFL Alumni Business Strategy Committee. Bennie was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the Board of Overseers for the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. He served on the Board of Celanese Corporation where he was a member of the Environmental, Health and Public Policy Committee and Audit Committee. Bennie also served as a member of Beaumont Hospital’s Board of Directors from 2009 to 2014, where he chaired the Patient and Healthcare Committee and was a member of the Finance Committee and Ventures Committee. He was significantly involved in the $3.8 billion merger to form Beaumont Health System. Bennie was President of Ford African Ancestry Network focusing on leadership development, mentoring, and counseling members at all levels of management, and community outreach.
