As a freelance musician I have performed in various styles including pop, jazz, funk, soul, music theater and classical. I conduct, direct and mentor different ensembles. I am proficient in flute and clarinet as well as saxophone.

In 2019 the Stage Band won division 3 at Generations in jazz, one of my students was awarded a place in Super Band and another student was accepted to Monash University to study Jazz.

The band performed at the Village Festival and at Falls Festival in Lorne, and were the band for "A Guy and a Gal" featuring renowned actor John Wood and Michele Forbes. My direction of the group focused on energetic, high impact jazz and funk music and the artistry of the jazz classics.

I taught saxophone and clarinet focusing on contemporary styles, improvisation and classical repertoire and assisted with the intermediate concert band and stage band. In January 2014 I founded the Padua Junior Stage Band which focused on introducing younger wind players into contemporary music.
