At Complex Care Center, an innovative healthcare startup focused on delivering Advanced Primary Care to patients with chronic conditions, I play a key role in strategic development and finance. My responsibilities include corporate compliance, payer contracting, revenue cycle management, HR development, financial forecasting/reporting, and accounting system setup. Ideal Option is now one of the Nation's largest opioid use disorder treatment providers. Building an organization that is on the front lines of combating the opioid epidemic requires daily innovation across the workforce. Fortunately, the team was up to the challenge as we successfully grew the organization from two clinics in one State to over sixty clinics across ten States. My key roles/responsibilities were as follows:-Worked with the Executive team on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships on city, county, state and national levels-Collaborated with team members across the organization to develop and install critical platform investments to increase operational efficiency/effectiveness-Collaborated with key Company members to fold in acquisition targets and identify ripe de novo opportunities-Reviewed pending and finalized federal and state legislation to ensure the Company is positioned in a manner that demonstrates compliance while maximizes the effectiveness of the Company’s delivery of care model-Monitored key performance indicators to provide all decision makers with increased operational/financial visibility-Performed quarterly liability risk assessments with the intent of covering significant risk pools with appropriate insurance products-Led the marketing team’s efforts in constructing campaigns that promote the Company’s mission both internally amongst the Company’s workforce and externally to prospective patients and key industry stakeholders-Collaborated with external partners/consultants to effectively leverage their expertise against the Company’s environment to yield value added guidance

My core duties with Fruci were as follows:•Crafting proactive tax planning strategies with business owners and individuals•Providing guidance on proposed and enacted IRS regulations that directly impact small businesses•Researching previous Tax Court case rulings in order to establish a foundation for unique tax positions•Helping Not-for-profit organizations obtain tax exempt status•Identifying the tax implications of unique business transactions•Identifying, capturing and analyzing key performance indicators that highlight an organizations financial position and performance•Performing Compilations to present financial information in a polished form that allows decision makers to make informed decisions•Consulting on how an organization captures and processes financial transactions•Coaching bookkeepers on how to efficiently and effectively utilize accounting software including: o QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft FRx, Practice Master•Processing payroll for small businesses •Drafting audit plans to ensure audit objectives are met in an efficient manner for both the client and the firm•Clearly communicating what is needed in a proactive manner that expedites the performance of the audit•Work closely with management on preparing compiled financial statements for internal use and small business bank loans•Employing a high degree of professional skepticism during Audit / Assurance engagements•Ensuring financials are presented in accordance with either US GAAP or IFRS reporting framework
