My responsibilities were to convert software for measuring experiments and binary data files from Unix (32 bits big-endian) to Linux (64 bits little-endian) using C/C++, Java and shell-scripts. I also developed plugins in Delphi for the data acquisition software Dewesoft (e.g. a plugin to control a frequency generator trough GPIB protocol).

I was solo responsible for all the IT related issues of the company (head quarters and a subsidiary).My activities were: Help-desk users on the ERP (Systextil), OS, Coreldraw, Office toolset and other Textil-specific machinery related softwares.Installing/acquiring hardware/software, general hardware maintenance (printer, scanner, keyboards and etc) and general OS maintenance (fixing compatibility errors, checking/applying updates, OS failures and etc). Take care of the ERP executing the updates and requesting bug correction to Systextil's employees and testing parts.Take care of the DB (Oracle) with backups and SQL queries for reports and updates.Keep constant contact with external support responsible for the internet/mail/website server, to solve issues and achieve improvements.Take care of security cameras and video footage.Verifying industrial processes to find misuse of the ERP or of the production process itself, to avoid database inconsistency (stock).
