Been working in the streaming business for the past 11 years, before that I worked in full time and freelance capacity in the Advertising Industry, Music Producer/Sound FX Designer for a PC Gaming company and DJ / Record Shop Manager / Graphic Designer in my most youthful days.After converting from the Digital/Tech Advertising space (web site/flash sites) for Fortune 500 type clients, I was lucky to grab a Technical Management position at MLBAM (MLB Advanced Media) to work in Streaming apps before morphing into BAMTECH Media, Disney Streaming Services and currently named Disney Streaming after we merged our Technology Team with Hulu from Disney's 20th Century Fox acquisition.I've been part of managing, launching and maintenance of the following applications.MLB.tv, MLS, NHL.tv, PGA Golf, WWE Network, PS Vue, HBO NOW, Disney+, Star+ and Hulu.The team has grown in size over the years and I managed a team of 4 Technology Project Managers overseeing respective functional areas of our TV, Settop Boxes and Chromecast applications globally. In prior years, I also oversaw all the mainstream streaming device platforms such as PlayStation, Roku, AppleTV, AndroidTV/Amazon FireTVs & XBox. Learned all the ins/outs of the various Rich Media Ad vendors at the time (DoubleClick, Point Roll, Eyeblaster, Eyewonder and Flash Talking). Helped develop production efficiencies and training with offshore animators we were asked to leverage.
Executed all the flash projects here. Ended up surviving five rounds of layoffs as the company was struggling in the dot.BOMB era. I ended up getting no severance. Just a nice portfolio piece for a Nokia project that licensed one of my tracks too. Thanks M1! Man.. What a failed company story this became.A few more freelance flash gigs in the Boston Area and then I was DONE with Boston and it was time reboot life/career down in New York City...
