Created a formal training course for employees in the financial controls division (FINCON), focusing on Citigroup’s regulatory environment and capital hedging processes in relation to the acquisition of Bank of Overseas Chinese (BOOC).2. Compared and contrasted Taiwan’s accounting standards and U.S. GAAP; applied the findings to BOOC’s financial statements to determine Citigroup’s acquisition price.3. Worked with the Country Risk Manager to assess the value of intangible assets that were involved in the acquisition deal to finalize the costs to Citigroup.
