I love telling people about what I do. As a systems engineer at a building automation company I’ve gained unique skills in electrical and mechanical control, networking, programming, commissioning, and project management. My favorite part is the cross-functional blend I get where on top of hours of technical hands-on work in the field, the hours add up just as plentifully in the back-end design, coding, and UI. But simply put - I get to make things work! I’ve always been interested in the pursuit of novel applications for technology and I think controls engineering will never cease to entertain that resolve.Outside my professional life you'll mainly find me playing or listening to music, cooking, spending time with friends, gaming, and staying active in a multitude of ways. Being a percussionist since 4th grade, music has been a huge part of my life, and while I'm steadfast to things like that I'm always ready for something new. It won't take much coercion to get me to try out something fun or take on a new challenge! Recently I've gotten into writing and world building; stay tuned for some original works!
