Developing and leading innovation, conducting ongoing analysis for continuous quality improvement on program objectives, and providing reports on the progress of these innovations. Built innovative partnerships and engagement strategies addressing mental health and coordinating the development of Compassion in Action Guide and Practicing Connections (COVID-19, Opioid Crisis, & HHS Priorities). Coordinating day-to-day operations as functional Deputy Director for the Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, working in close coordination with White House Officials. Asked to serve at the White House from 2010-2011 and 2021 in multiple roles including managing the relaunch of the Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships at White House working across multiple agencies, coordinating outreach and communications, and increasing awareness in public health efforts and promoting father engagement. Providing advice on administrative and management strategies to achieve policy and program proposals toward innovative solutions. Designs and pilots multiple online and in-person events that build the capacity of participants, leveraging insights and positive feedback from participants to create a roadmap for future projects and events.  Mobilizing key nonprofit and faith-based partners in volunteer efforts to address needs and program outcomes. Managed President's Advisory Council for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, a 25-member council advising the President on strategies to reduce poverty and income inequality. Providing advice to HHS Offices on how to strengthen their work, including how to identify and most effectively leverage the strengths of individual team members and organizational components Actualized contracts with business partners and service providers/vendors with a focus on the quality of deliverables, costs, and the ability to maintain and adhere to a budget.

Aligned with Associate Directors and Directors to accomplish tasks and support ongoing initiatives,developing graphics, charts, and tables to clarify data sets that were shared with the public. Managed the analysis process for multiple years specific to information sent directly to the Office of the President and contributed to the key points of data for the President to communicate.▪ Generated and finalized materials to provide to Senior HHS and White House Officials▪ Drafted speeches, reports, and correspondence for Associate Directors and Directors.▪ Led a pilot project to measure the success of the work at HHS and worked with additional federalagencies to support a process to measure the impact across multiple agencies.

Selected from a field of 8,000 applicants to be part of the first class of 63 HHS Emerging Leaders (modeled on Presidential Management Fellowship).▪ Provided value while working in the Public Health segment, receiving approximately 280 hours of Senior Executive Service training in the first year of the program.▪ Leveraged inherent leadership and solutions delivery skills when contributing to high-visibility projects within the Inner Office of the Secretary of HHS.▪ Offered expertise in written communication to revise and finalize language for federal regulations.
