My work consists in developing a new computational method in order to reduce the computational burden associated to the simulation of these electromagnetic scenario while preserving high accuracy in antenna pattern prediction. A this time, a new hybrid method associating one full wave time domain multi-scale method (DG-FDTD) and one iterative asymptotic method (IPO) has been proposed.The validation procedure has proved that the methods allows a fast and reliable computations of antennas with a complex vicinity and mounted on large platform. This method has been applied to the optimization of antenna placement on a terrestrial drone. This study has shown the ability of the new hybrid method to analyze realistic situation. Show less -
