• My colleagues and I developed one of the first biometric bank cards.• I helped implement and improve the software on both a microcontroller (STM32) and a secured microcontroller (for banking payments) as well as working on the hardware component.• The environment also included a sensor that returns fingerprints data that I had to analyse and use.• Main objective: optimise the time and energy consumption in order to make it the most interesting product on the market.• Also tested and validated that the microcontroller was meeting its requirements and expectations.• Researched, developed, programmed and tested internal applications for in-house or external use.• Exchanged with team, company members and clients through presentations and meetings about my development and discoveries.

As a requirement for international experience for my bachelor’s degree, I spent time in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, interviewing French engineers who now reside in Australia on their academic experiences, careers and the trials and tribulations of moving to a foreign country. My main area of focus was their advice and encounters in working and building a career and a business in Australia. My aim for this trip was to gain knowledge, information and first-hand experience of the processes of moving to a foreign country. I was provided with many resources, and lots of advice and motivation from the engineers I interviewed.
