Benoît Le Bars, managing partner and co-founder of Lazareff Le Bars, is an internationally recognised expert in arbitration and a specialist in African business law (notably the law of OHADA).Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law at the Vermont Law School (USA) and Senior Lecturer in private law, he keenly pursues both his academic activity and legal practice, serving as both counseland arbitrator.He has significant expertise in the fields of contract law and international projects, international trade law and litigation proceedings. Over several years, besides his practice in Eastern Europe and the Spanish-speaking world, Benoît Le Bars has developed a highly-reputed Africa practice. His unparalleled knowledge of OHADA law, as well as his passion for the continent, have led him to create a quarterly magazine focused on corporate law in Africa (Magazine International de Droit des Affaires en Afrique - MIDAA), as well as to host a conference for lawyers and business players across Africa (Rencontres Internationales du Droit des Affaires en Afrique - RIDAA).
