My goal is to increase access to medical imaging for the population. The vision to achieve that is to unlock operational data and transform Radiology with data-driven strategies, the same way data has transformed the airline industry.I grew up in France, living in many cities. I started programming when I was 12 years old and, at 15 years old, was the youngest finalist of Prologin, a French national programming contest (36h non-stop). At 14yo, I had all the equipment to build printed circuit boards and played with microcontrollers. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in 2004 (rank: 2nd), my Master in Computer Vision in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2009, receiving the “Best Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics” award of INPG Grenoble University. I came to Boston in 2009 for a postdoc at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Computational Radiology Laboratory with Simon K Warfield and, in 2018, became an Assistant Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. The impact and quality of my academic achievements were recognized by various awards, by many oral presentations in international conferences and by two granted US patent.During more than 12 years in the Radiology department at Boston Children’s Hospital, I witnessed Radiology’s critical lack of metrics to manage equipment, and have taken this on as my next big project. Today, I am the CEO and co-founder of Quantivly, a startup that spins off a technology originally developed at Boston Children’s Hospital, that will do just that.
