If it takes longer than 5 seconds then you could probably make a lot more money on your site by fixing it.

I learned the importance of grass-roots involvement of Board Directors in a small community organisation.

Alltech was a technology Value Added Reseller. I was a part-time Presales Engineer and had a blast with the jet-setting lifestyle, flying around the country to run software demos and service customers like DSTO, ANZ Bank, NEC, Telstra and BAE.Ultimately though it was the experience with OPNET, one of Alltech's portfolio vendors, that whetted my appetite for a career in Application Performance Management (APM). The complexities in the interaction of networks, infrastructure and applications appealed to my Systems Engineering training, and this has proved an enduring interest.
