About Bennet Oubre, Mai, Ai-Grs

A graduate of the University of New Orleans, with a bachelors degree in finance and a concentration in Real Estate Studies. A Louisiana State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser holding the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute.As a second generation appraiser, I have been working in the field most of my life and have been involved in the appraisal of thousands of single family homes and commercial properties. Over the years I have concentrated on providing appraisals for litigation purposes and have been recognized as an expert in real estate appraisal in numerous courts throughout Southeast Louisiana and by the Federal Bankruptcy Court. In addition to my appraisal practice, I have served as a National Instruction for the NAIFA and as a certified continuing education instructor for the State of Louisiana. As part of my professional activities I have served as President of New Orleans chapter of NAIFA, as an NAIFA State director, as President of the Saints Board of Realtors, as State Director and Regional VP for Louisiana Realtors.Specialties: Appraisal for litigation purposes, eminent domain, enviromental and special use properties.
