• Carried out stress analysis of Piping using Caesar II as per ASME B31.3 process piping code, support selection and release of loads and markup for structural design, Nozzle and Trunnion strength check and nozzle flexibility evaluation using PRG Nozzle Pro and FE Bend software.• Completed Stress analysis of piping connected to Pipe rack, WHRU (Waste Heat Recovery Units), Pump, Heat exchangers, and Safety valve piping for loads due to Sustained, Thermal, Seismic & Wind, SV blow and P&ID markup for IOCL Panipat HGU (Hydrogen Generation Unit) project, India. • Prepared Spring hanger and Rigid Strut data sheet for ordering.• Gained knowledge in Acoustic Induced Vibration, Fluid Induced vibration studies performed for piping, Creep and Fatigue evaluation requirements, slug flow analysis, storage tank piping analysis, WRC 537 and WRC 297 checks in Caesar II, Flange leakage assessment in piping and ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3 code check requirements as per latest edition related to stress analysis.

• Lead Engineer-Pressure parts for NTPC Khargone project handled issues related to Pipe stress analysis, calculations, handling site issues related to pressure parts and piping erection.• Carried out Stress analysis of Critical piping i.e., Main Steam-Cold Reheat & Hot RH piping during Pre-NTP for NTPC Talcher 2 x 660 MW project for Sustained, Thermal, Static equivalent analysis for Seismic, Wind, ERV/Spring loaded SV blow and Steam hammer loads.• Completed Stress analysis of Wall Blower and Soot blower piping for LHS/RHS for 2 x 660 MW Buxar project.• Completed Stress analysis of piping as per ASME Sec I and ASME B31.1 Power piping requirement including support selection, vendor offer reviews, issuing loads to structure and bend displacements for 3D interference checks.• Have visited sites of L&T executed projects for inspection of issues related to Piping supports and was also part of Inspection team for Pre-Hydro and Pre-Boiler Light up for boiler pressure part and piping.• Fatigue life evaluation of Super heater and Reheater tubes using MSC Nastran (FEA) with subsequent check of Creep Fatigue interaction as per EN Code requirements. • Developed Macro codes in Visual Basic for Excel for automated pipe support selection for spring hangers, Rigid supports, snubbers, SIF and flexibility factors as per ASME B31.J, Fatigue life evaluation using MSC Nastran/Caesar II output and Bend displacement report generator for 3D Interference check of piping in (SP3D/SPR).• Guided subordinates in carrying out Finite element analysis of Furnace with Buck stays to check its integrity to resist furnace implosion pressure and helped in co-relating output with MHI design calculations for Pressure parts and Non pressure part design.Honors and AwardsGot the ICON Award for year 2009-2010 for successful implementation of MSC Nastran for analysis of furnace tubes and nose panel and also validating with MHI design calculations, training subordinates.

• Carried out Finite element analysis (FEA) of industrial components like valves, nozzles and casings to check pressure integrity.• Carried out Thermal-Structural coupled field analysis (FEA) of Hot Shut off valve using mapped temperature distribution profile from CFD analysis for Wind Tunnel project of V.S.S.C (Vikram Sarabhai Space Research Centre), Trivandrum.
