Dynamic4 Fitness was a network of experienced health & fitness professionals I founded in 2001 while living in London. My focus was to help our clients be fit for life with a strong emphasis on posture, strength, body awareness, breath control and mental focus - to enhance both a sense of wellbeing and achievement.I worked with and learnt from specialists in a range of areas of the health & fitness industry including Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi, mindful meditation, physiotherapy, personal training and sports therapy.My two specialties were Pilates (group matwork, one to one, equipment, and pregnancy & Pilates), and Spin. I taught at a range of health clubs, studios, apartment blocks and offices – including the Pilates Institute, Complete Health Care Centre, Bow Quarter, Holmes Place Clubs, Fitness First, LA Fitness, YMCA, Interbrand, Deutsche Bank and others.I grew up with sports, health and fitness being a key part of my life. I added resistance work to my training at the age of 12 and explored many different training philosophies and approaches, with an early fascination with mind body training. In 2001 I formalised my fitness qualifications with the Professional Fitness Leader and Personal Trainer certifications at the Fitness Institute of Australia (FIA). I then studied Pilates with Michael King at the Pilates Institute in London and became a member of the core team.

Better Goals was a social enterprise focused on helping people with intellectual disability, their families, and supports not miss out on things, build more independence, and achieve their goals.The very accessible Better Goals app helped people know what they’ve got on and reminded them what to do to get there. It included a photo and video diary and simple ratings to keep track of what was working. They also invited people like their family and support workers into their Better Goals team to share what they’re up to and get help.

Westpac is one of the largest banking groups in the world. I was the acting Head of Customer Experience for most of my time in this role and also the Business & Portfolio Manager. In both of these roles I was responsible for how we ran and grew our internal customer-centred design (CCD) practice - aligning customer, business and technology goals to design solutions that deliver business value and drive customer advocacy.I led the explosive growth of our design practice through a significant increase in the maturity and adoption of CCD practices within the Westpac Group. In a 24 month period we grew the team by 218% (to 35 people) while returning a 20% saving on financial targets.This success was the outcome of designing a business model with a clear value proposition and executing strong strategy, business development, people, partners, finances and portfolio management practices.

I was initially contracted for three months to manage the technology aspects of three new office fit-outs and relocations in Germany and France for HR Access, a company Fidelity acquired from IBM. After successfully delivering the relocations, I was asked to stay on and manage all Fidelity system releases and implementations, leading teams of 110+ based in the UK, Europe and India.
