G'day! I'm Ben, a designer and coach at Dynamic4, which I founded in 2001. A lover of music and fun. I also take photos and write a bit.I specialise in coaching, training, and working alongside leaders to navigate complexity and solve problems that matter. With 30+ years in financial services, this is one of my happy places.Leadership is getting more challenging with rapid change and increasing expectations creating more pressure and scrutiny.86% of leaders reported increased expectations from their teams, customers, shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders. I consistently hear three key challenges:1. Navigating complexity with increasing ambiguity and uncertainty2. Feeling exposed and vulnerable to criticism because diverse stakeholders are demanding more3. Finding meaning and recognition in demanding rolesWhat do we do about it?The leadership programs we co-design and deliver bring together design thinking, regenerative innovation, wellbeing, and purpose into an integrated practice. These sessions are designed to build personal, team, and organisational capability with more:🌿 Confidence to navigate complexity and solve problems that matter for your teams, customers, shareholders – and build momentum with more certainty and less risk while increasing your wellbeing❤️ Clarity to empathically engage your stakeholders, make better decisions, and collaborate to create solutions that your teams and customers love, make money, and do great things for people and our planet🎯 Purpose that drives progress on your goals and creates meaningful value that you’re proud of for all stakeholders – and build the relationships, workflows, rhythms, and habits for successKeen to chat about how we can collaborate? 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗗𝗠 😃For the past 30+ years I’ve been leading, designing, and delivering strategic change in financial services and startups/social enterprises by bringing together strategy, design, tech, and wellbeing – in Australia, NZ, Asia, the UK, and Europe.I’m a designer and founder skilled at coaching people to learn through doing – building on real-world experience and current practice – not just theory. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching thousands of leaders, founders, designers, and students.I’m the author of the bestselling book Solve Problems That Matter. https://dynamic4.com/sptmI'm the co-founder of Sydney Design Thinking (SydDT), a diverse community of 9,500+ members and one of the top design thinking meetups globally. http://syddt.orgDynamic4 is a social enterprise and B Corp.
