As a patient advocate at a pharmaceutical tech company, I was most excited about taking on new challenges and solving problems that arose. While facilitating the day-to-day patient experience, I became motivated to learn software development to manage communication and client interactions. I was determined to improve the flow of information and patient satisfaction. With this passionate interest in the software industry, I enrolled in the Hack Reactor Software Engineering Immersive program and absorbed new tools and programming languages. I am a curious software engineer interested in pursuing new approaches to develop effective products for end users. I thrive on collaborative teamwork, making impactful decisions, and delivering a cohesive, valuable product. My projects have included Python, Javascript, Django, React, Docker, microservices, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, Heroku, CI/CD, Git, HTML, and CSS. I am excited to continue tackling problems and working on new solutions with my teammates. I love that feeling of accomplishment that comes from solving challenging puzzles to build real-world application products.I also seek new and demanding challenges as a volunteer white water rafting guide for the non-profit Healing Waters. I am passionate about the outdoors and enriching the lives of others. While guiding the paddlers in this collaborative, exhilarating endeavor I demonstrate my leadership and focus on fostering a sense of encouragement and empowerment for my team.
