I lead Paul Ramsay Foundation’s impact investing activities across the full risk / return / impact spectrum. Alongside my role at PRF I am Vice Chair of the Board, and Chair of the Investment Committee, for NatWest Social and Community Capital. Furthermore, I hold the position of Impact Investor in Residence and Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Social Impact Flinders University.Starting my career in the private sector, I established and managed UnLtd’s – the UK’s largest early-stage social enterprise supporter – social investment department and first funds before heading up Esmée Fairbairn Foundation’s – the UK’s largest impact investing foundation – social / impact investing work. Other activities in the space include co-authoring the CFA UK’s Impact and Investing Certificate, founding and chairing Australia’s Foundation Group for Impact Investors, co-Chairing the UK’s Social Impact Investors Group and teaching the Social Finance module at University of Westminster.
