Work on a comprehensive wealth management team based out of Onalaska, Wisconsin, with clients all over the United States. I work hand in hand with another designated CFP® while we consult with individuals and businesses/owners, helping them pursue and achieve financial and professional goals while maintaining a fiduciary relationship. We create and implement financial plans that help to create a roadmap to achieve short-term and long-term goals. We focus on wealth accumulation, tax mitigation, preservation of wealth, and strategic retirement distribution. We help clients make complex financial decisions within their professional lives and relieve stress during unprecedented times. We are the outcome managers to our clients, educating them on their options and the relative outcomes of making one decision over another.

Accommodated families and visitors through small talk and an approachable and welcoming personality. Learned how to adapt to a socially driven work environment and lead conversations diplomatically. I became comfortable multitasking tasks and implementing time management. I worked 20-30 hours a week while managing a full-time undergrad class load who partook in extracurricular activities in my spare time. I was able to have the opportunity to train new employees, set an example for how to treat customers and share tips and tricks on certain tendencies customers like seeing.

Had an amazing opportunity to be an Intern at Baker Tilly during the busy season of 2020. I worked on the Individual Services Tax Team in the Minneapolis, MN office, and it was the perfect experience to connect what I was learning in Undergrad to the real world. In this Internship, I was able to partake in what it means to complete a 1040 for an individual/family—taking it from the beginning to the end, from consolidating 1099's to having it signed off at the end of the process. It was a perfect way to experience a fast-paced environment during a busy season, and it showed me what it would mean to be a Certified Public Accountant in the future. Although this Internship ended a few days early due to the Covid pandemic uprising, I truly appreciated the opportunity Baker Tilly granted me during my junior year of undergraduate studies.
