I have over twenty years' experience in the events industry and am an accomplished sustainability consultant.When my daughter was born in 2018 I pictured her as a ten year old asking me what I had done to alleviate the climate crisis. I realised then that I had to dedicate the rest of my career to sustainability and started learning everything I could. In 2020 I cofounded the event industry organisation isla and led the development of the TRACE carbon calculator.I now lead Sustaniability Simplified with Poppy Stephenson and together we help events and media cut through the noise and start reducing their carbon footprint straight away.I've been in an agency trying to implement sustainability so I understand the difficulties people face and how to fix them.
