Desk-Based Account Manager

As a predominantly desk based Enterprise Account Manager, my duties included managing a large base of customers within a variety of vertical markets. My key focus areas within the role ranged from customer retention to strategic marketing, whilst also resolving core account issues and further demonstrating Intercity Technology's wider portfolio. With an established business model of supplying mobile communications, it was my aim to ensure that both new and existing customers were aware of our unified communications, data and managed services offerings. By doing this, i was able to earn Desk Based Sales Person of the year in 2017.Outside of this role i undertook the development, design and distribution of an Intercity Technology update magazine that covered quarterly updates from our board of directors along with information around any events which had taken place in the months prior to the release. For two years i also chaired the Intercity Engagement Team with a focus towards driving charity activity with Acorns Children's Hospice, Birmingham Dog's Home, Age UK and others. On top of this, i would help a team of five organise three off-site social events and work to increase employee engagement and collaboration across the group.
