In May of 2024, I earned my master's degree in Regional and Community Planning, as well as a minor in Business Management at Kansas State University. My passion for urban planning stems from a belief that cities can and should be designed to benefit all members of society, regardless of their income, race, or background. Through my coursework and research, I have gained a deep understanding of the complexities of urban development, including the importance of community engagement, public policy, and smart growth principles. I have also studied the role of sustainability in shaping urban environments, and have developed expertise in implementing sustainable solutions such as green infrastructure, renewable energy, and sustainable transportation. My research has also focused on exploring innovative ways to promote equitable transit-oriented development and improve urban mobility. I have studied the impacts of transit systems on community development, economic growth, and social equity, and have developed expertise in planning and designing transit-oriented communities. As an urban planning professional, I am dedicated to working collaboratively with communities, policymakers, and stakeholders to create thriving, resilient, and sustainable cities. I am excited to apply my skills and knowledge to address the complex challenges facing urban areas today, and to help shape the future of urban development.
