Administered Server and Network Infrastructure for the Westlake, Ohio, office and production server environment at a nearby Co-Lo.Installed, configured, and Managed a ~250 user Atlassian Confluence site used as an internal Knowledge Base. Configured Windows 2008, 2012, and 2016 servers to support custom web applications for client businesses - including IP address allocations, VM settings, SSL certificate maintenance, and IIS configuration. Member of team that migrated the Westlake office's VM environment from Hyper-V to VMware ESX (this was approximately 50 VMs).

This position requires a bit of everything IT. About 50% end-user support and server administration. With network equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting taking the next 35%. With the last 15% of the time at work spent with miscellaneous tasks like replacing UPS batteries, terminating CAT 5/5e/6 cables, delivering new laptops and desktops, and researching then recommending new equipment. Using remote tools when possible, travelling on-site to customers when necessary, and not always between 8am-5pm.
