I am a social (and now civic) entrepreneur committed to creating opportunities for all people to reach their full potential. I believe that doing good leads to communities that do great. My career has centered around forging high-performing organizations that are people-centric, data-driven, and cause-focused. I have been privileged to work with organizations that have spanned community, business, education, non-profit, government, and academia. As the leader of groups ranging from the YMCA, the Greater Louisville Project, the MobileServe App, the Future of Work Initiative, and my current work at the University of Louisville, I have learned that issues are best understood by the people closest to the problems.I also believe the solutions can and should come from those same people. Creating a culture of opportunity requires a strong civic and business ecosystem that effectively engages everyone, regardless of sector or circumstance. My passion is for meaningfully engaging all kinds of actors in that process, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and belonging.
